Energy Efficiency Experts focuses on completing audits for both Montgomery and Prince George’s County. But wait… What IS an ERC community in the first place?
The Energy Resiliency Zones (ERCs) Initiative is a county-wide effort within Prince George’s to focus on aiding neighborhoods that face significant economic, health, public safety and educational challenges. You may also know this same program under another name: “Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative (TNI) which also used education, public safety, and employment’s factors to identify key neighborhoods across PG who need the most holistic uplifting. So how does this help you?
Number 1: The energy audit will be at no cost to you. Because of this program, the usual $100 energy audit (originally a $400 value) will be completely waived.
Number 2: You are receiving another rebate on top of what PEPCO is offering.
These are the few example of the neighborhoods distinguished as being an ERC:
Bladensburg – East Riverdale; Forestville; Hillcrest Heights – Marlow Heights; Kentland – Palmer Park; Oxon Hill – Glassmanor; Silver Hill; Suitland – Coral Hills; and Woodlawn – Lanham.
